FOOTBALL.
Platers are particularly requested to muster at the ground this afternoon. Mr Staite has managed to arrange for a match next Saturday with the Taranaki fifteen, who play Auckland this afternoon, and call in at Gisborne on their way South next week. A provisional local representative fifteen play a team of all comers this afternoon, and the final selection for the fifteen will be made this evening.
