ARRIVALS. The U.S.S. Company’s Monowai, from Sydney and Auck’and, arrived in the roadstead on Saturday afternoon. Passengers : Mrs Wakefield, Misses Brunsden and Eiley, Messrs D. Orr, G. Spicer, Churchward, Crook, and Grange. The U.S.S. Company’s Tarawera arrived here from Melbourne via southern ports on Sunday morning, bringing — Mesdames Johnston, Smith, and Stevens, Misses Jeffreys, Stevens (2), and Eave (ex Kaikoura), Messrs Kenny, Bell, Ambridge, Sutton, Richardson, Cotterill, Bryant, and Walker, Dr Johnston, and eight steerage. DEPARTURES. The s.s Monowai left for sonthern ports and Melbourne on Saturday night, taking— Mesdames R. Cooper and Hatton, Misses Watt and Adams, Messrs C. Priestley, Cashmere, Williamson (2), Mason, Booth, J. Cooper, A. Adams, W. D. Lysnar, and Hume. The s.s. Tarawera went on to Auckland at 10 o’clock on Sund: y morning, taking— Mrs Martin, Misses Joyce and Rosie, Messrs Wake, Tiffcn, and four prisoners. TELEGRAPHIC, Auckland, Sunday. Arrived—R.M.S. Mariposa, at 9 a.in., from Honolulu, with English mail. Arrived—Australia, at 10 30 am., from Gisborne. Yesterday. Arrived—Tarawera, at 1.45 p m., from Gisborne. Port Chalmers, Sunday. Arrived—S.s. Duke of Westminster, from Lytteltcn.
