NOTICE is hereby given that this Council will proceed by Special Orders, on FRIDAY, 12th September, 1890, to make a Special Rate of osk sixth of a fenny in the Pound on all rateable property in the Waikohu and Ormond Boad Districts for a period of 26 years, commencing on Ist September, 1890, and ending on 31st August, 1916, for tbe purpose of providing interest on a Loan of £4500 to be obtained in terms of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886, for the purpose of erecting a bridge at Kaiteratahi.
