Mr E Langford then proposed a hearty vote of
thanks to Mr G. Staite forbte past services in connection with the football clubs. This was seconded by Mr Mann, and carried by acclamation. After the usual vote of thanks to the chair being passed the meeting c osed.
THE REPRESENTATIVE TEAM. After the general meeting had dispersed • Committee meeting was held for the purpose of appointing a Selection Committee, when Captain Winter, and Messrs Morgan and Arundel were appointed. The Selection Committee subsequently chose the following players, from whom the representative fifteen will eventually be pickedStaite, Skeet, Matthews, Burns, -Hepburn, Fisher, H. Maude. Wade, Marshall, Robinson, Lysnar, Langford, Loomb, Allen, Nisbett, Crawford, Hdtchinson, Smith, Mowatt, Featon, T. King, McPhail, G. Johnstone, Trotter, Tuhoi, Torapubi, Tu te Arai, Weka, Hemi, Munro, Matamuku, Manu, Butene, D. Leach, Rua, Parr, Mackay, Kingi, Colebourne, and Belamy. AU of the above playeis are requested to attend at the gymnasium each evening at 7.30, for pracice.
