AUCKLAND. Last night. The Kamo coal miners were called out because coal was supplied to the Clansman. Tbe steamer Richmond got away all right for the Islands, with a non-union crew. The Union Company have a new crew ready for the steamer Rosamond. The steamers Tarawera and Australia were being worked to-day with free labor. WELLINGTON. Last night. This morning the crew of the Stormbird Rave 24 hours' notice of their intention to - leave the vessel. On the arrival of the Kahu this morning, from Auckbnd and East Coast, the crew were called out, although the steamer had gone alongside the breastwork to unload her cargo of potatoes, the Seamen's Union holding that although that was neutral ground, in all likelihood the cargo would be carted by Nonunion men. 0n hearing this the captain Rtoncetook the vessel round to the Queen’s wharf, and the Union Company offered to fill the places of the men who had given notice, A movement is on foot to form a Coal Lumpers* Union, which is not to be affiiliated to any other Labor Unton It is reported here that the Eailwav Commissioners intend insisting on the Railway Servants’ Bo'iety severing their connection with all other Unions, and the communication of their grievances direct to the Commissioners.

Mr Newtown, president, and Mr Harris, secretary of the Local Railway Servants, were called in to-day before Manager Gran', and a telegram from the Commissioners was read. They were asked if they would refrain from inciting other employers to disobey. They said while not forsaking their comrades they would obey the rules. Mr Grant said ha was very glad of their answer, and would wire it to the Commissioners.
