ARRIVALS. The colter Venus arrived from Wbangarei on Saturday afternoon wi’b a cargo of coals. The schooner Gisborne, from Auckland via eoas’al ports, arrived here on Saturday. The schooner Waiapu came into the roadstead yesterday morning, from Auckland via East Coast ports. The topsail schooner Awaroa left Mabia at 9 o’clock on Saturday night, and arrived here yesterday morning, bringing 400 sacks maize f or Common, Shelton and Co. The Union Company’s coastal steamer Australia, from Wellington and Napier, arrived in the bay early on Saturday morning, bringing—Mr and Mrs Bingham, Missts Fletcher and Fowler, Messrs Myers, Gregg, Fordham, Ryeburn, and Biair. DEPARTURES. The 1.8, Australia went on North on Saturday morning, taking—Mr Podmore. The Janet Nicol steamed on to Napier on Sunday evening. Passengers: Wirth's Circus Company, and Mr H. Gregg. Arrived—Janet Nicco), at G a m., from Gisborne. The following vessels were in port yesterday :—Top-ail schooner Awama, schooners Gisborne, Waiapu, and Waiwera, ketch Reliance, and cutter Venus.
