Betting is quiet over the V.A.T C. Meeting. For the Caulfield Cup, 100 to 7is offered against Little Bernie, and Singapore has been knocked back to 100 to 3. Highborn h ie been backed to win a good sum for the Caulfield Cup at 100 to 2, and 100 to 4 is now the best offer. Odds of 1000 to 50 have been accepted about Chaldean for the same race.
