At the Supreme Court this mnrnintr, Mr Cornford applied, on behalf of the Law Society, to have the name of Willoughby Brassey removed from the roll of solicitors, in consequence of Brassey’s action in reap, ct of which should have been paid to J, P. Hamlin. An affidavit has been filed by Mr BraBB j y, to the effect f hat it was understood that he should bold the money for a short period, it being in the nature of a loan. Considerable argument ensu *d, and the case was adjourned till this afternoon, to get an affidavit from H. M. G. Hamlin, but as it was found he had gone to Wairoa, fhe case was adjourned to the sitting of .tho Appeal Cuun in Wellington.
