ARRIVALS. The Union Company's coastal steamer Southern Cross came into port yesterday morning, from Wellington and Napier. Passengers : Mrs Syrup, Mi.-s Hannersly, Messrs Fordham, Farrell, Bold, K ngsford, Olsen, Price, Mathews, Dawson, Anderson, and Madden. DEPARTURES. The steamer Southern Cross left for coast ports and Auckland yesterday. IMPORTS. Per Southern Cross—l hhd, 1 cas^» Wninray; 23 pkgs, 1 case, 1 t«dle, Pitt and Miguire; 2 oct run, Dunlop and Bourke; 9 whisky, 1 case pigs, Common. Sneiton and <’o.; 1 wheel. Nelson Bros.; 40 bdles hoops, Johnston; 89 pkgs, 1 case kerosene, 3 cases, 1 crate, various consignees. EXPORTS. • Per Southern Cross—4so sacks maize. L. an I MA, Co.; and siinlry pkgs for coastal ports. TELEGRAPHIC. Lyttelton, Thursday. Arrived—Ship Waipawa, from Louden. The Union Compiny’s steamer Australia did not get away from Au-kland till one o’clock on Tnursdav afternoon, and should therefore arrive here this afternoon The Union Company’s s.s. WakaHpu leaves Auckland about i o’<do.-k this afternoon for sou 1 hem p -rts. She should arrive in the bay about 3 o’clock on Sundav afternoon, and will be desp itched for Napier at 5.
