The Pope has prohibited the Roman Catholic Bishops in America from openly assisting Messrs O’Brien and Dillon in the collection of money for the Irish Land League. The Czar, the Sultan, and other European Sovereigns, also Prince Bismarck, sent messages to General Von Moltke, congratulang him on attaining his 90th birthday.
