Ask any successful lawyer to what he ascribes his success, and he wi'l tell you that he has taken care to have had ‘evidence’ to support the cases he his undertaken. What pends the murderer to the gallows I Evidence. What sends the thief to gaol ? Evidence What procures a divorce from a cruel husband ? Evidence. with the most gra'ifving result, and that its use rpgu’ted in a restoration of perfect haalth after two years of extreme lebility,* John Plummer, Eeq., North Willoughby, says, ‘ Clements Tonic did Mrs Plummer a great deal of good and it is a very good remedy.’

J. W. L.
