A verdict of “ acciden ly killed " has been recorded concerning the dea'h of a bushfaller n ~ned Marshall, who was found dead near Waipiro. Au Auckland paper has the following vile advertisement:—"Jamis Grounds Stui.h, Gumuigger, late of Northern Wairoa, is about to relire grac fully from the scenes, or, in other words, going back to England, The Lord gave and the Lord taketh away, etc., etc.” Mobi, the faithful Maori servant of the late Hon. W. Swanson, and who, it was expecied, would have been provided for in bis old age, has died at the Auckland hospital. He was visited during the week by Sir Geo. Grey.
