Hospital Trustees.
An foi’dinary meeting of the above was held last nfeht. Present: Captain Tuoker (Chairman), Messrs Harris, Hepburn, Lucas, Stubbs, and Watson, The monthly report showed that 14 patients had bnen treated, 6 had been discharged, there had been one death, and 7 patients remained present. The Treasurer reported a credit balance of £7O 17b 41. Accounts amounting to 14b 8d were passed for payment. On the recommendation of the Visiting Committee, it was agreed to repair the present under* ground cistern, and that tenders be called for before next meeting for tho construction of a 4000 gallon circular cistern. <Hher minor works were authorised. The Visiting Committee appointed for the ensuing month were Messrs Coleman and Harris. The matron acknowledged, with thanks, gifts of periodicals from the Poverty Bay Club, fruit from Mr Barber, Makauri, and illus. trated papers aud eggs from Miss Dqran. Mr Finneran submitted a report on the .<iovation of the.ciatern, and will supervise tho new work,
