The following are the results ;—Maiden Plate, of 80 sovs—Hazel 1, Wayland 2, Liquidation 3. There also started : Silver Pine, Dunville, Ben Trovato, and Crown Jewel. Wayland led till a dozen yards from home, when Hazel got up, winning by half a length. Time, 2m 18s; Diva., £2 13s and £4 19a 6J. Hurdle Race—Waitangi 1, Little Arthur 2, Spv 3. Ahtia, Ixion, and Bomulus also started. Romulus fell when-looking all over a winner. Diva., £l2 19s 6d and £lO 123. Time, 4m 30s. Otago Cup, 500 bovs—Freedom 1, Wolverine 2, Occident 8. St, Malo, Prime, Warden, and Milord also ran. Occident started a strong favorite. Freedom won by a head. Divs. £7 10s Od aud £6 18s. Time 3m 9Js Freedom was bred at the Sylvia Park and was bought by Mr D. O'Brien when a yearling. Dunedin Stakes—Florrie 1, Morpheas 2, May 3. Won very easily. Nominations for the Gisborne Racing Club’s Summer Meeting oloee on Tuesday evening next.
