ARRIVALS. The Union Company’s steamer Southern Cross, from East Coast ports and Auckland, arrived in the bay late on Thursday night. The Union Company's steamer Australia came into port yesterday morning, from Wellington and Napier, bringing Messrs Fordham, Gibbs, and Farrell. DEPARTURES. The Southern Cross went on to Napier about midnight on Thursday, taking—Mr O'Connor and the Faust Family. The Australia steamed on North yesterday morning. Passengers : Mrs Fannin, and Miss Sykes. IMPORTS. Per Southern Cross—6 bdls, Whitby and Partington; 2 boxes glass, F- Hall; 1 crate, Adair; 1 ease, 1 pkg, Pitt and Maguire; 4 cases, Common, Shelton and Co. Per Australia —6 boxes candles, Whitbv and Partington ; 14 cases, 13 pkgs, Dunlop and Bourke; 109 pkgs, 28 sacks oats, 50 sacks flour, Common, Shelton and Co.; 1 pkg, Poswillo; 1 roll netting, Wingate, Burns and Co.; 6 pkgs, Pitt and Maguire; 2 sacks seed, 114 coils, 43 bdls iron, 3 bales, L. and M A. Co.; 24 kegs. Kennedy and Evans; 1 octave, 6 cases, Currie and Hogan j 4 pkgs, Townley.
EXPORTS. Per Southern Cross—33 bales wcol, L. and M.A. Co.; 30 bales wool, Common, Shelton and Co. Per Australia—l2 eases cheese, 1 case butter, order; 1 jar spirits, Dunlop and Bourke. TELEGRAPHIC. Auckland, yesterday. I Arrived—Wairarapa, at 3 am., from Sydney, with a Brindisi mail. | To-morrow afternoon the Union Com- i pant's steamer Wairarapa, from Sydney and Auckland, arrives in the bay. She resumes her voyage South in the evening, the outward passengers going off at 5. The Union Company’s steamer Waihora leaves Wellington this evening, and calls in at Napier on Sunday, arriving here early on Monday morning. There will be only the one launch goina off, which leaves the wharf at 6. The Waihora only goes as fur as Auckland and Ruesell, returning hero on Friday next. The ooas'-al steamer Kiwi arrives hers from Wellington this morning. film will be brought alongside tbe bieakwater to tiicbarge some machinery for the Irerzi-g works, The schooner 8»xco returned to Whingarti on Thursday night.
