Maori Elections.
Gaw interest was taken in the East Coast Maori election on Thursday, and there was considerable excitement as each return was posted up on the Sjasdaud window on Thursday evening and yesterday. The contest lies between, Messrs Carroll and Wi Pete, the other candidates having no chance.
