A WARNING note has been sounded in Napier, and it may be useful to call the attention of the Arai electors to it. Many who have got the power of choosing in which electorate they shall record their vote have become over-confident of Captain Russell’s return and intend to vote in Napier or Waipawa, thus greatly diminishing Captain Russell’s chances. The Waipawa Mail urges that all who have votes in the Hawke’s Bay district should record them there. Il those in the Arai district who are supporters of Captain Russell prefer to make use of their votes in the East Coast district thev may let Mr Reardon beat Capti in Russell. We give them the hint, as Mr Arthur’s journal evidently prefers that gentleman to Captain Russell.
