Mr Foley’s Entertainment.
The clever Mr Foley gave his opening performance at Gisborne on Saturday night, at the Theatre Royal, and also performed last night, For the providing of a good night’s laughter Mr Foley has special ability, and the interest of the audience is maintained throughout. His changes of costume arc wonderful, and tis singing of cr.nuc songs and his impersonations of character soon establish him as a favorite. The panorama of the overland route through America is well worth witnessing, while Mr Foley has an admirable faculty of creating merriment, the audience repeatedly giving expression to their appreciation by outbursts of applause. His ventriloquism is a specially good feature of tho entertainment. Last night there was a good houqe. and an lent programme w»a presented, A mau that can keep an audience entertained as Mr Foley succeeds in doing, has abilities of no common order in the line which he adopts.
