Star of England, for Wel ingtoo. Arrived—Barque Lochnagar, at i p.m., from London. The steamer Southern Cross is due from Auckland via East Coast ports this morning. The steamer Wairarapa. from Sydney, Bussell, and Auckland, arrives in the roadstead at 1 o’clock to-m >rrow. The last launch goes off at 5. The Australia has been detained in Wellington for Government inspection, aud will not leave that port till noon to-day. She arrives berg on Saturday morning. tx cutter Venus went alongside the Lutterworth yea ter day morning, and discharged a quantity of wool into the barque. The Omapere is expected here on Sunday next, from Dunedin via way pone. At high tide on Saturday last the locallyowned cutter Venus was fl >ated off thr be ich at Totoga Bay, and arrived hers late on Tuesday night. The vessel has not sustained any dtmage, though part <f her cargo of wool has been injured by the salt water.
