ARRIVALS. The Union Company’s steamer Wairarapa came into the bay at G o’clock last evening, from Sydney, via Russell and Auckland Passengers : Mesdames Westney, Heale, and Stanton, Misses Reid and Tinks, Mesjis Tighe and attendant, Westney, Gray, Garrett, Robb, Wnodhead, Spring*!!, Fraser, Geddes, Meikls, Veale, I-win, Oochmey, and Dr Heale. DEPARTURES. The Wairarapa steamed on South about 9 last night, taking—Mesdnmes Garbutt, Foley, and Greenwood and three children, Misses Hicks, Harwin, Houlden, Davies, Croft, Thomson, Johnston, Wilson, and Moore, Major Ropata, Messrs Hickey, Munn, Proffit, Simons, Draybrook, Foley, Pilmer, McLean, Rowley, Tiffen, Muir, L. Rees, Ranger, Lough, Warren and son. Last evening the Union Company’s steamer Hauroto left Wellington for Sydney via East Coast porta. She calls in at Napier this afternoon, arriving here at daylight to-morrow. There will be only the one launch going off, which leaves the wharf at 6 The steamer Australia does not leave Napier tnl 6 o’clock this evening and wm reach here eariy to morrow morning bhr goes North after discharging cargo. The Union Company’s steamer Omspere is announced to leave Napier on Monday evening, arriving here at daylight on Tuesday. Ihe Southern Cross has been lying in Tnj.gi* since Thursday last, taking n» 220 oates «>f wool. She left for Gisborne a; 2 o’c.ock thi.- morning, and is due i:» the bay about G. The Cross steam* on to Napiei and Wellington at 2 this afternoon.
