fSPSCIAt TO THB 6TANUAU3.J Napier, last night. AU arrangements tor tbe annual prize firing meeting of ibe New Zealand Rifle Aesociadon are now completed, and firing begins at 9 30 on Tuesday. There are two representatives from Gisborne and the total for tbe colony is under 209, A large number of competitors visited the encampment, and were highly delighted with the beamy of the spot selected. It hat been decided not to conclude tbe championship contest till ths afierncot; of tbe last day of tbe meeting. Tbe question of fixing permansnt site and date for all future meetings Will be discussed fief ire tbe present mretipg je concluded, bs these is among many volai tsars a fepling in favor of a colonial Wimtledon, and b strong attempt will be made to fix upon Blenheim as ths place.
