Woman Burned to Death.

Nev.'s has been received from Puatae.a place beyond Pakarae, concerning the death of an old Maori woman. The information received is not very explicit, but it seems that the old woman was in a whare when the fire broke out, and she was burned to death before any rescue oould be attempted. Sergeant Ryan, of Tologa Bay, has gone to investigate the matter, and an inquest would probably be held at Paatae.
