The Gisborne High School has again been very successful in the matriculation examination. Of the seven candidates representing the school under the charge of Mr Mann, five passed. ’Mt is worthy of note that of that number four have not yet reached the age which entitles them to avail themselves of their success, a fact which speaks well for ,the cleverness of the pupils and ability of their instructor.
