Phizes have been presented to the following pupils attending the senior part of the school, tor tbeir success io the examination held last Christmas :— For passing the Matriculation Examination— Robert Carswell—Epoch and Episodes of History. Adolphus Sootier—Box of Mathematical Instruments. Etta Baker—Macaulay’s History, Eva DeLautour—Stanley’s ” Hew I found Livingstone.” Kale Drummond—Stanley’s “ Through the Dark Continent:,” In the junior division prises were given to the first and second in ths annual examination. Those were— Hedley Thomson—Worthies of the World. Murielle Richardson—“ Lite of Nelson,” by Clark Russell.
