A TRIBUTE TO HI3 WORK ON THE NEWS. (SPECIAL TO THE 6TANDABD.) Nsrun, last night, Mr Wilson, Editor of the Evening News, leaves next week for the Rangitlkei district, to conduct a now paper being started there named the Rangitikei Mercury. His departure is much regretted by a wide circle of friends, and especially by the readers of the News, his management of which is admitted by friends and foes to have been admirable. (He will not, however, leave Napier without taking with him a substantial mark of the esteem in which he is held,
