" European’s" letter on Chinamen is unavoidably crowded out of this issue. The following paragraph, which seems to have a deep meaning in it, is going tbs rounds:—A lunatic who was arrested in Wellington was quiet enough until passing the New Zealand Times office, when he became frantic, smashed tha windows ot tbs cab in which ba bad been placed, and struggled with the constable, lie was ultimately gat to the asylum.
