ARRIVALS. The Union Company’s steamer Southern Cross arrived from North yesterday morning. Passenger: Mr Jackson. The Union Company's s eamer Manapouri came into port at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon from Sydney, Russell, aud Auckland. Passengers: Mesdames Hill, Stevenson and child, Smith, Wallace, Moses, and Bsyntom, Misses Bint ie (2), Johnstone, Whitson, Davies, and Brown, Messrs Binnie, Tomlin, Colebourne, Wallace, Carin, Brown, Holmes, Pollock, Hickey, Dods, Barry, Carson, Long, Howell, Gamble, and Maxwell. DEPARTURES. The freezing hulk Prince cf Wales (Captain Cummings) sailed late on Thursday night for Pieton, via Wellington. The Manapouri steamed on South at eight o’clock last evening. Passengers : Mestiames Anderson, Gibbons, and Shannon, Misses McKay, Craill, and Colebrook, Messrs Brown, Shannon, Powell, D. McLeod, Niven, Brown, and four natives. The Southern Cross left tor Napier yesterday afternoon, taking—Miss O'Meara, Messrs Nolan and Maher. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Saucy Kate, schooner, from Greymouth. Opotiki, schooner, from Napier, The topsail schooner Awaroa arrived yesterday from Mercury Bay. The steamers Ta Anau and Australia are both expected here early to-morrow morning, from the South.
