ANNUAL MEETING OF TURANGANUI CLUB.
The annua] me tine of the members of the above Club wts held last nighr, at the Masonic Hotel There were 20 members pr< sent, Mr W. Fraser being in the chair. Sixteen new members were elected : Messrs Hope, Masterson, J. Stevenson. Wilkinson, Eat<»n, Sealey, Poswil o, J. Morrison. J Ry«n, Leggett, H. Hall. H. Johnston, J Lindsay, H. Evans and F. O’Meara. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year ;—President, Mr Fraser (reelected) : Vice-Presidents. Mess 8 Harding, Ma<thews, and Maude; Cap air., Mr H E. Maude (re-elected); Deputy-C«piain, Mr F. Loumb ; Secretary, Mr R. Robinsoh ; Comm»ttee : Messrs E. Matthews, W. Nis h ett, G, Crawford, and A. DeCosia ; Auditor, Mr J Haughey. The Captain and Deputy-Captain were elected as delegates to-the Poverty Bay Rugby Union. It was also resolved that the Captain, Deputy, and Secretary form a «nd general managing Committee. Mr Fraser promised ajjtrophy, to be awarded as the Committee may decide.
