ARRIVALS The Union Company’s steamer Southern Cross, from Wellington and Napier, arrived here yesterday morning, bringing Mesdames Common, Thompson, P< Ikinghorn, and two children, Messrs Pol kinghorn, Maloney, Ctesar, Common, Cornford, Ford, Const. Pardy, and four steerage. The Union Company’s steamer Australia arrived from the North shortly after 5 o’clock on Thursday night. Passengers : Mrs McGuire, Misses Kennedy, Harding, Bower, Creba, and Warren, Meters F. H. Le> s. Chrisp, Mitchell, and Major C.ark. The Union Company’s steamer Te Anau, from Auckland, arrived in the roadstead at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Passengers : Mesdames O Connor, Joyce, Lodger, Baker and child, McDowell. Misses O’t'onnor, Robertson, Lecky, Coffey, Alexander, and Wood, Rev. J. Ward, Messrs Campbell, J. Cleary, Grey, Adair, Butler, Jenkens, Pryer, and Legget. DEPARTURES. The Australia steamed South on Thursday night, taking—Mr and Mrs Morse and family, and Mr G'over. The Southern Cross went on to Auckland yesterday morning. Passengers, Messrs Cooper (2), and Herbert. The Te Anau left for Southern ports yesterday evening. Passengers: Mesdames Newton and Oliivier, Misses Ebling and Gibson.
