ARRIVALS. The Union Company’s steamer Rotomahana (Capt. A. Kennedy), arrived in the roadstead from Melbourne via South on Sunday morning. Passengers : Mesdames Pavitt and child, Coombs and three boys, and Boyle, Miss E. Houlden, Messrs Smith, Sievwright, Kennedy, Finnucane, Chambers, Morroiv, Dinan, Robinson, Albert, and Bower son. The ketch Venus arrived in port on Sunday. from Napier. The schooner Waiwera came into port yesterday evening, from Mercury Bay, timber laden. The cotter Gipsy has arrived from Auckland, wbh a cargo of timber and salt. The fore and aft schooner Maud Graham arrived in the bay yesterday. (She has been chartered to take South the Southern Cross Petroleum Company’s plant, which was recently disposed of by auction at Christchurch. On reaching Tokotnaru it was found that the vessel s boat was not capable of carrying the heavy machinery, and the schooner had to come on to Gisborne to obtain another boat. DEPARTURES. The Rotomahana steamed on to Auckland, Russell, and Sydney on Sunday morning, taking—Misses Nicholson, Clark, and Kennedy; Messrs H. Geddes, Hoare. McGowan, McMillan, Marshall, Martin, J. H. Martin, and Sarten. IMPORTS. Per Rotomahana—l case, Clothing F.ctory; 10 drums glycerine, Williams and Kettle; 2 cases stationery, Gisborne • Staxoakd; 2 eases, Dunlop and Bourke ; 2 cases, 1 truss, Pettie and Harper; 1 ease Lewis; 1 truss, Adair; 1 truss, leather, Wingate, Burns and Co.; 2 bales hops, Crawford; 2 trusses, 1 case, Kennedy and Evans. EXPORTS. Per Rotomahana—24 sacks grass seed, "•■nd M A. Co ; 2 ti.rcea beef,. 1 horn £ (Bit of Blue), McMillan, TELEGRAPHIC. . . . „ Btcrr, yesterday, _*mvM-Manapouri, at 4 a.a., from Hobart, with English mail. , Auckland, yesterday. Arrived—Southern Cross, at 7 a.m., from Gisborne. The s.a. Janet Niecol will probably arrive here on Sunday next from the South, a day earlier than was expected. The brigantine Zsphyr, from Newcastle, baa not yet arrived here.
