[ADVERTISEMENT.] A Complaint.
j . [IU THE FBITOB. j Sib,—l should like to make a few remarks on the treatment I received at the Salvation Army this evening. I always sympathised with the Army, and was in the barracks before eight to-night, being now in Gisborne on sink leave from my work on Mr Knox’s contract. Last night I hear! what I thought not to be proper reference to other Christian bodies, and I got up and stated that I did not think it right tor such things to be said, whereupon I was immediately ejected in a forcible way, and severely hurt. As I am under doctor’s treatment I felt the violence very much, and was helpless with so many against me. I think this sort of thing is hardly allowable in what is said to be a place of worship, and should be enquired into If I was not allpwed to quietly express dissent that is no justification for jlltreatment. I might at least have first been warned.—l am, etc., April 17. Ciubt.es Heald.
