VICTORIES OVER ITS OPPONENTS. PrrHßDis, last night.. At a largely attended public meeting in Dunedin, called by the '.Temperance party, strong resolutions in favor of prohibition were cariied with enthusiasm.
WauoANOl, last night, The licensing elections at Wanganui yesterday resulted in the return of three candidates pgt forward by the Prohibitionist party, who pledge themselves to close five of the nineteen hotels in the Borough.
