The election of School Committees on Monday next will be a very important feature in the local affairs of the district, and as such we cannot refer to the subject too often. It should be one of the principal aims of the people of the district to maintain the efficiency of our schools, and no householder should neglect exercising his privilege in this matter. Let every householder who can possibly do so attend on Monday night and record his votes in favor of the seven men whom lie deems best fitted to undertake the important work. This should be considered a pleasant, but none the less imperative duty. It would be a positive disgrace to any intelligent community were these meetings to pass off in a shillyshally fashion, when every resident should readily come forward to exercise the honorable privilege to which he is entitled.
