The Union Company’s steamer Waira—rapa, from Melbourne, via Southern ports, arrived in the bay on Monday morning. DEPARTURES. The locally-owned topsail schooner Awaroa (Capt. J. Urquhart) has sailed for Auckland. The Wairarapa steamed on to Auckland shortly after 10 on Monday morning, taking —Mrs Evans, Misses Evans (2), Major Pitt, Messrs D. Hepburn, Woodhead, Turnbull, Dette, Williams, Murphy, Peddle, and Eyan. IMPORTS. Per Wairarapa—l case tea, Adair; 10 boxes soap, L. and M. A. Co.; 20boxes candles, Maguire and Co.; 1 truss, Pettie and Harper; 1 pkg, Adeane and Primrose ; 6 boxes elemes, Williams and Kettle ; 1 pel, Townley. EXPORTS, Per Awaroa—lo4 sacks wheat, Keefer; 60 bags bones, Whitby and Partington ; 356 sacks barley, 51 bags maize, Clayton and Sawyer, The Union Company’s steamer Southern Cross did not get away from Wellington till 7 last night, and will therefore not reach here till Saturday morning. The Union Company’s steamer Australia left Auckland shortly after 6 o’clock last evening, and arrives in Gisborne on Friday afternoon. The Union Company’s steamer Janet Niccol left Napier at 6 last night, and arrives here at daylight this morning, proceeding on to Auckland at 10.
