The Union Company’s steamer Janet Niccol, from Dunedin via way ports, arrived in the bay on Thursday morning, bringing— Messrs Whittam, Black, Anderson, Ross, Fordham, McKay, and Jones. DEPARTURES. The Janet Niccol steamed for Auckland at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon, taking—Messrs Stone, Taylor, Goodwin, and Whitehouse. IMPORTS. Per Janet Niccol—l case, Clothins Factory; 1 trues, Pettie and Harper; 15 cases jims, Common, Shelton and Co; 1 crate, 2 cases, 1 pkg, Whitby and Partington; 1 case, 1 keg, Farmer’s Association ; 4 cases, 2 kiids, 1 crate, 20 sacks oatmeal, Dunlop and Bourke; 12 bags lime, 3 kegs, 3 |~casks, 60 sacks flour, 60 j sacks flour, 40 flour, Williams and Kettle; 3 cases, 3 9 boxes, Maguire and Co; 4 hhds ale, J. H. Martin ; 2 hhds ale, F. Martin ; 5 trusses, Kennedy and Evans. TELEGRAPHIC. Auckland, yesterday. Sailed—Te Anau, at 12.30 p.m., for Gisborne. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. The Southern Cross steams for Tologa Bay, Tuparoa, Hick’s Bay, and Auckland at 8 o'clock this morning. The Union Company’s steamer Te Anau, from Russell and Auckland, arrives in Gisborne at 2 o’clock this afternoon. She resumes her voyage for Southern ports, Hobart, and Melbourne at 5.
The Union Company’s steamer Taraworais due in the bay early on Monday morting, from South. She leaves for Auckland and Hassell at 8.
