Passengers : Mr and Mrs Espie, Mr and Mrs Irwin, Mr and Mrs Brown and child, Mesdames Pollock and Brown, Misses Kane, Macauley, and Vanderpiek, Messrs Sheen, Turnbull, Munro Pere, and Euka. The Southern Cross, from Wellington and Napier, arrived in Gisborne on Saturday morning. The Tarawera, from Melbourne via South, arrivedhereyesterdaymorning. Passengers: Mr and Mrs Matthews, Mrs Stuart, Miss Galway, Messrs Nelson, Stopford, Salmon, Burke, Melland, and 10 steerage. DEPARTURES. The Australia steamed on to Napier on Saturday morning, taking—Messrs Banks, Goldfinch, Sellar, Muir. The Southern Cross went on North on Saturday, taking—Mr Tate. The Te Anau resumed her passage South on Saturday night. Passengers: Mr and Mrs Reeves, Mrs Bourke, Misses Russell (2), and Reeves, Messrs Smitten, Watson, P. H. Bourke, Barren, Wilkinson, Anderson, H. Warren, and eight Maories. The Tarawera left for Auckland yesterday morning, taking—Judge Clendon, Messrs Wall, Hill, and one native. TELEGRAPHIC. Auckland, Saturday. Arrived—Janet Niccol, at 6.30 p.m, from Gisborne. Bluie, Sunday. Arrived—Rotomahana, at 1 p.m., from Melbourne. The favorite East Coast trading schooner Waispu (Captain Nicolas) sails for Auckland to-day. She takes up the Gisborne’s running this trip, calling in at all the usual coast ports on her pas age up. The schooner Gisborne has arrived from the North.
