ARRIVALS.
The Union Company’s steamer Southern Cross, from Wellington and Napier, arrived here on Saturday. Passengers: Mr and Mrs Taylor, Messrs Wilson, Glyn, Branton, and one steerage. The Union Company’s steamer Talnne arrived in the Bay from South on Sunday morning, bringing—Miss Berniwitz, Messrs Hatton, Hindman, Badley, Wyllie, Nichol, Tiffen, and Hutchinson. DEPARTURES. The Southern Cross steamel North on Sunday afternoon. The steamer Talnne left for Auckland on Sunday, taking—Miss Smith, Mr, Mrs and Miss Doyle, Mr and Mrs Hornberger and ’three children, Messrs McKay, Sturge, Hanson and five children, Monoghan, J. Carson, Murray, Masefield, Atkins, Carroll, Millman, Springall, Maude, J. H. Martin, and Leer. The steamer Ohau arrives in Gisborne from South early to morrow morni ig, a day earlier than was expected. IMPORTS. Hall; 1 bdl, 1 bag, Hall and Ormond; 7 pkgs, 2 cases tobacco, 7 sacks bailey, 3 sacks potatoes, 1 case, 1 pci, Williams and Kettle; 9 cases, Townley ; 1 roll, Morgan; 1 case, Lewis; 1 truss, Kennedy and Evans; 1 case, 1 bale, Pettie and Harper; 1 pkg, Adeane and Primrose; 16 pkgs, Dunlop and Bourkc ; 20 bags malt, Crawford ; 2 cases, 3 crates, Colebrook; 1 pkg, 6 pieces hardware, Sandlant Bros. EXPORTS. Per Southern Cross—2 tierces beef, 30 kegs beef. TELEGRAPHIC. Wellington, Saturday. Arrived—B M.S. Tongariro, at 9.40 p.m., from Plymouth. Bluff, yesterday. Arrived—Manapouri, at 915 a.m o from Melbourne. Auckland, Yesterday. Arrived—Ta’-une, at 10-45 am., from Gisborae. The ketch Venus (Captain Wares) is waiting a favorable change of wind to sail for Napier. The following is a list of the cargo overcarried by the Wairarapa 2 sacks oysters, Budd; 3 cases, 2 pkgs, Pettie and Harper ; 1 pkg, Wingate, Burns and Co. ;6 pkgs, Whinray; 1 pci, Finlay; 1 case, Mrs Ledger; 6 pkgs, Townley.
