ARRIVALS.

The Union Company’s steamer Southern Cross, from Wellington and Napier, arrived here on Saturday. Passengers: Mr and Mrs Taylor, Messrs Wilson, Glyn, Branton, and one steerage. The Union Company’s steamer Talnne arrived in the Bay from South on Sunday morning, bringing—Miss Berniwitz, Messrs Hatton, Hindman, Badley, Wyllie, Nichol, Tiffen, and Hutchinson. DEPARTURES. The Southern Cross steamel North on Sunday afternoon. The steamer Talnne left for Auckland on Sunday, taking—Miss Smith, Mr, Mrs and Miss Doyle, Mr and Mrs Hornberger and ’three children, Messrs McKay, Sturge, Hanson and five children, Monoghan, J. Carson, Murray, Masefield, Atkins, Carroll, Millman, Springall, Maude, J. H. Martin, and Leer. The steamer Ohau arrives in Gisborne from South early to morrow morni ig, a day earlier than was expected. IMPORTS.
