The Dobson-Kennedy Company.
Lovers of theatricals with a good, refreshing air about them will be glad to hear that the Dobson-Kennedy Company is going to anchor in Gisborne for a week. This company has been having a capital run in different parts of the colony, and has been too highly appreciated to permit its careering through at railway speed. The first piece placed on the boards at Gisborne will be The Shanghran. Gisborne people will also have an opportunity of seeing the clever Miss Kennedy in Little Lord Fauntleroy, She Is considered to take first rank in her portrayal of the title role. The company is highly spoken of in all quarters, and has won a solid reputation. Mr Petherlck is the advance agent. The company is now playing to enthusiastic audiences in Napier, as in other parts nf the colony.
