The Union Company’s steamer Talune, from Russell and Auckland, arrived in the bay on Saturday afternoon, bringing—Misses | Hoffman and Swarbrick, Messrs Mareham, O'Hara Smith, Carswell, Compton, and Phillips. Auckland, Sunday. Arrived—Australia, at 9 p.m., from Gisborne. Port Chalmers, yesterday Arrived—Waihora, at 11 a.m. yesterday, from Lyttelton. When off Table Cape on Saturday night, the schooner Opotiki passed thp ketch Venue, which sailed from this poit on Thursday last for Napier. The Venus met with a succession of head winds since she left here. The Tyser Company's steamer Hawke’s Bay, from Rockhampton, via Bluff and Napier, should reach here at the latter end of next week. She loads with frozen mutton for London.
