ARRIVALS.
The Southern Cross, from Auckland via East Coast porta, arrived shortly after 4 on Thursday afternoon. Passengers: Messrs Beaver and Young. The Australia arrived in port eaaly yesterday morning, from Wellington and Napier, bringing—Mrs Lucas and two children, Mr and Mrs Aikci, Messrs Price, Smitten, McLeod, Cameron, Baker, Eilman, Williams, Gilmore, Stone, Campbell, and Polkioghorne. DEPARTURES. The Southern Cross steamed on to Napier on Thursday night, taking—Messrs Weir, Patterson, Brown, Lee, and Eogleton. The steamer Australia left for Coast ports and Auckland yesterday morning. Passengers : Messrs Wilson, Fraser, and one lady. The schooner Opotiki sailed for Napier yesterday afternoon.
The ship Hinemoa left Lyttelton yesterday for London. The Tarawera left Wellington shortly after 5 last evening, for the North. She calls in at Napier to-day, arriving here at daylight on Sunday morning. She steams on to Auckland, Russell, and Sydney at 8. The following passengers are booked to leave by the Te Anau: —Mr and MrsHenryand child, Misses Haymee, Turner, and Fletcher, Messrs Balneavie, Young, Bingham, Smitten, Beaman, Johnston, and two natives.
