DEPARTURES. The locally-owned ketch Venus, Captain Wares, sailed on Tuesday for Napier. TELEGRAPHIC. Auckland, Tuesday. Arrived—U.S.S. Company’s steamer Rotokino, at 5.30 a.m , from Sydney. She brings a Brindisi mail. Sailed—Southern Cross, at 6 p.m., for East Coast porta and Gisborne. VESSELS EXPECTED. Waiwera, schooner, from Napier Opotiki, schooner, from Napier Mataura, barque, from Napier Waiapu, schooner, from Auckland Awanui, schooner, from Auckland Norwel, schooner, from Westport This evening the coastal steamer Sonthern Cross arrives from North. The Triune will not reach here till Monday morning. She has been detained at Dunedin. The Australia leaves for Tokomaru, Waipiro, Awanni and Auckland at 7 on Saturday morning. The email steamer Te Kapu leaves Napier to-night, arriving here early on Friday morning. She brings the Pirate Football team. Ths steamer Wairarapa returne here from Auckland to-morrow on her voyage South. The outward passengers will be taken rff at 4, the Wairarapa steaming on to Napier shortly afterwards.
