Hospital Trustees.
An ordinary meeting of the Trustees was held last night. Present: Captaiq Tucker (Chairman), Messre Harris, Tuohy, Coleman, Lucas, Watson, and Hepbum. The monthly ’report showed—Remaining from last month, 7 ; admitted since, 10, discharged, 4, remaining at date 13. The Treasurer reported a credit balance of £lO7 3s. Accounts amounting to /50 13s 7d were passed for payment. The Chairman, on behalf of the Visiting Committee, reported the acceptance of the tender of the ’Gas Company fit £4O, for laying the gas, with necessary fittings. The action of the Committed was approved of. It was agreed to call for tenders for annual Hospital, supplies, tenders to be in by next meeting. It was resolved that tenders be called for papering and varnishing the hall and corridor, the Visiting Committee to pre* pare specifications, tenders to be in fif next meeting. Messrs Watson and C. A. Brown were appointed a Visiting Committee for the month.
A proposition was made by the Chairman, seconded by Mr Harris, and it was resolved that a letter be written to Miss Stewart, the matron, recognising her valuable services during the past fifteen months, and thanking her for the ' very satisfactory manner jn which she bad performed her dMtfoi
