Ingomar, as a four-year-old, walked over for Her Majesty's Plate, lOOsovs, 3 miles, w.f.a., at the Down Ireland Royal Corporation Summer Meeting, and won the Hurdle Race at Croydon, beating nineteen others. As a five year-old he won the Thom Club Handicap, of SOOsovs, added to a sweep of 15sovs, one mile, beating Notus, Richliou, Hopbloom, etc; Her Majesty's Plate of 100 guineas, 2 miles (912), w.f.a.—won in a canter ; Her Majesty's Plate, of 100 guineas, 2| miles (9.12), w.f.a., nt the Curragh September meeting-won in a oantcr • Her Majesty's Plate, of 100 guineas, 3 miles (9.13) w.f.a., fit the Curragh October—won in a oantcr by six lengths. It will be soon from the above performances that Ingomar was a fine stayer under heavy weights, both on the flat and over hurdles His tabulated pedigree is full of stout blood, and he is the sire of Lochnosa, Strephon, JEgyptilla, Alcinous.
