HIGH WATER— SUN RISES AND SETS
ARRIVALS. The steamer Manapouri came into port shortly after 2 on Sunday afternoon, from Auckland, bringing—Mrs Campbell, Mrs Gordon and infant, Miss Whitson, Messrs Tomlin, Good, Clark, Watson, Carlisle, and Ritchie. Early yesterday morning the steamer Botomahana, from South, arrived in Gisborne. Passengers : Mrs Steele and three children, Messrs Hutchinson, Lysnar, Gannon, Heaney, Price, Master Murphy, six Maoris and six steerage. The coastal steamer Australia, from Wellington and Napier, arrived in the roadstead at 8 a.m., on Saturday. Passengers: Mrs Gibson and family, Misses Penman, Wright, and Tayer, Messrs Dougherty, Luokie, Bmitton, Hogan, Richardson, Colegrove, J. Walker, Hatton, W, Walker, and four Maoris. DEPARTURES, The Australia steamed on North on Saturday afternoon, taking—Mrs Shields, Captain Blackwell, and one Maori. The Manapouri resumed her voyage South on Sunday night, taking—Mrs Sunderland, Miss Craill, Messrs Barr, Olsen, Crawford, Mcßnrney, Jackson, E F. Harris, and Walker (2). The Botomahana left for Auckland, Bussell, and Sydney about noon yesterday. Passengers: Mrs Dunford, Mrs Webster, Miss Penman, Messrs Arthur, Mullins, H. Branson, Dunford, and McDonald. EXPORTS. Per Australia—2s sacks grass seed, Common, Shelton and Co.; 31 hides, Wil liams and Kettle; 46 hides, 22 bags chaff, L. and M.A. Co.; 5 bags chaff, Whitby and Partington, TELEGRAPHIC. Spit, yesterday. Arrived—Manapouri, at 6 a.m, from Gisborne. The Ketoh Venus left Auckland on Tuesday last for Gisborne via Taima. She brings 30,000 ft, sawp kauri, and 10 tons coal.
