The Library.

A MEETING of the Library Oommltee was held on Tuesday evening last. Present i Messrs D. Johnston (in the chair), Featon, Dunlop, O’Ryan, Pettie, and Lucas, (Hon Secretary). The Librarian reported 133 members on the books, and that the number was keeping up. The Committee passed a vote of thanks to Messrs Townley, D. Johnston, R. N Jones, and A. Keefer, for donations to the library and museum. A number of old books were ordered to be sold. An Entertainment Committee was formed with a view to having periodic entertainments during the summer, for the purpose Of raising funds to buy new books.
