A Question.

[tO TUB EDITOn.j Sis,—Mr Barron has a letter in yours of 19th instant with regard to certain enquiries which have been made about the stud advertisement of his horse Hukatere, Mr Barron challenges an enquiry as to whether Too Good, a son ot Ingomsr, was not a great performer. This is quite beside the mark, for it I am not mistaken the question was not “ Was Too Good a good performer?" but “ Did Too Good win the English Grand National, as stated in Hukatere’s stud adverment?" A plain "Yes” or "No" would be sufficient answer to this question, but Mr Barron carefully avoids giving it; and if ‘‘Yes,’! when?—l atp, etc., New Guom> September 2L
