HIGH WATER—SUN RISES AND SETS

ARRIVALS. The steamer Australia arrived in the bay on Thursday evening, from Auckland via way ports, bringing -Messrs C. Brovvn, Yelland, Beaton, and Roberts. The steamer Dingadee came into port yesterday morning, from Wei ington and Napier. Passengers—Miss Brooking. Messrs Guard, Knowles, Brooking, Parker, Morgan, Greene, and two steerage. The schooner Awanui arrived in the roadstead on Thursday afternoon, from Auckland via East Coast ports. The steamer Tarawera arrived in Gisborne yesterday afternoon, from Sydney and Auckland, bringing—Mesdames Johnstone and Fisher, Miss Ashton, Messrs Prichard, Pettie, DeLautour, Bracken, and six steerage. DEPARTURES. The steamer Australia left for Napier on Thursday night, taking—Messrs Lardelli, Ware, and Brown. The Dingadee steamed on to Coast ports and Auckland yesterday. The Tarawera resumed her voyage South last night, taking—Mr and Mrs Walker and two children. Moedames Sharpe and daughter, Mason, Jamieson, and Manned!. Mieses Martin, White, Cumming, and McKenzie (2), Messrs Maxtead, Brown, Irwin, Maxwell, Anderson. McKenzie, McGrath, Adeane, Whiting, Hare, Kennedy, and Sunderland. EXPORTS. Per Australia —25 sacks maize, Whitby and Partington ; 14 cases cheese, Townley; 12 sacks grass seed, L. and M.A. Co. Per Dingadee—l9 cheeses, 29 hides, order; 2 sacks cocksfoot, L. and M.A. Co. TELEGRAPHIC. Napier, yesterday. Arrived—Australia, at 11.45 a.m, from Gisborne. Last evening the steamer Wairsrapa left Wellington for North. She calls in at Napier to-day, arriving in Gisborne early to-morrow morning She proceeds on to Auckland and Bussell the same morning, returning here on Friday next.
