The general public thus have a great inducement. Shareholders have the additional inducement that they participate in an annual division of profits, which is made pro rata on the purchases, the largest purchaser having his share based on bis purchases, while each shareholder also has the benefit of his capital account according to the number of shares held by him. The Association disposes of all claeses of goods n the Produce and Grocery lines, and has the same advantages in buying as the large wholesale houses, as it has the privilege of co-operating with the flourishing Southern Associations.
