The Directors of New Zealand Hosiery Mills Limited, Wellington, —Manufacturing “TREASURE,” “DELAI" and “DELLEX” Hosiery desire to tender their apologies to the public of Hastings, and surrounding districts, for their inability to make a display of working machinery during “Royal Show Week ” owing to the fact that the whole of their plant is working full capacity executing orders in hand. No doubt there are lots of people in this district who would like to know how hosiery is made and to these people we issue a hearty invitation to visit our mill the next time thev are in Wellington, when we shall be very pleased to show them our products in the various stages of manufacture. The district engineer, Public Works Department, Napier, will receive tenders for fencing the Napier Technical School up to 4 p.m. on Friday, October 31.
