CHRISTCHURCH TRAGEDY
| MOTHER AND BON DEAD. DAUGHTER IN CRITICAL CONDITION. [Per Press Association.) Christchurch, Oct. 21. A tragedy occurred at 53 Salisbury Street this morning, and Mrs. Dunford, middle-aged, and her son Frank, aged 14, are both dead, and a daughter, Iris, aged 16, is in hospital critically ill. The tragedy, which is believed to be doe to poisoning, was discovered by the girl, who rang Dr. Thompson, and he arrived as she collapsed The woman was found dead in a shed. The husband is a labourer, and is absent on public works near Culverden.
